“ We were beyond surprised and thankful for the special touches Marlow’s Tavern Oviedo provided for our anniversary! 11 years ago we had our first date at Marlow’s and yesterday we celebrated 9 years of marriage. The Oviedo Marlow’s staff made this anniversary dinner one to remember! The shrimp and grits was phenomenal, service impeccable, and the espresso martini was to die for! Thank you for everything! ”
“ Great food and drinks. The wife and I have been a few times now, and the food is always delicious, as are the cocktails. If you're a margarita fan, you have to try the chili blood orange margarita. It's AMAZING, the perfect combo of sweet, spicy, and tangy. (I didn't get a picture of the margarita, unfortunately) This time, I got the Royale with Cheese, a double wagyu cheeseburger that was easily one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. ”
“ The past two times I've been here did not earn the consistent 5 stars I would usually rate Marlow's. Two weeks ago (March 15, 2025), my son's burger (medium rare) was beyond burnt. Today (March 31, 2025), my mother ordered her sandwich with horseradish on the side. Her sandwich came with horseradish on it. After waiting for a server to come back by, my mother gave up and went inside. By the time both my father and I finished our entire meals, my mother's corrected sandwich had still not come to the table. The server did not offer to remove the meal from the bill. I do take fault in not requesting to speak to a manager. Our server was very kind, but she wasn't as attentive as she had been in the past. This has always been my favorite restaurant to go to. I even voted for Marlow's at The Taste of Oviedo, but after these two recent visits, I'm debating going back. Sadly, these were both celebrations of my birthday. I don't want to celebrate here if my friends and family can not enjoy their food or, at the very least, eat their food at the same time as the rest of the people at the table. ”
“ We absolutely love this place! The food is 10/10 every time we go. Service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is chill and very clean. They also have delicious cocktails made with fresh, vibrant ingredients. A lunch date fave! ”
“ Absolutely amazing food we were pleasantly surprised. Tonight was a first for my husband and I as a date night on Mother’s Day. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu. Our food was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the prime rib French dip with the grit cake that was amazing with a side of aoili. I had the tavern burger with waffle fries. Oh everything was mouthwatering good. Our server Will was knowledgeable and personable, he truly connected with us not just as customers but as people he truly cared for and that was a great experience. Will thank you, you truly made our night and the drinks were amazing. The entire atmosphere is great outdoor patio seating was lovely. Great job to all we absolutely loved it and will be back. ”
“ So good because of the service. There was a mistake with my side when the server noticed that I moved it aside, he requested the kitchen give me what I substituted. The chef came out with my rice and made sure I was happy. The atmosphere (music) was rather loud for us so we moved outside. Happy Valentines Day! ”
“ Excellent eatery near Oviedo's Center Lake Park with large shaded/covered outdoor patio dining area, and menu items with a nice mix of the familiar and some novel twists. The patio is raised above the street, with fans and closable panels so it can be adapted to the weather and time of year. There are several tempting starters/snacks and "shareables" great for something to munch on while talking with friends, but also some great options for entrees, sides, and dessert. The burgers are great, but my favorites are either the chicken stack, or the prime French dip sandwich. (The shrimp and grits are pretty good, too!) Staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive, even when things are fairly busy. Located in a very pedestrian-friendly area. We have enjoyed other Marlow's Tavern locations (and the food!) but this one is our favorite. :) ”
“ Very surprised as to how good the food was. I had the grouper sandwich which came flaky and moist. The others at the table had the black and blue burgers in various degrees of wellness and the chef got all perfect. ”
